Welcome to the Spokane Heart Rescue website! The Spokane Heart Rescue is a collaborative project focused on improving bystander CPR response to out-of-hospital sudden cardiac arrests (SCA). We welcome you to browse our website to learn more about our project, how it came to be, how to get trained in CPR, and how you can help teach others!
Remember, the life you save by learning CPR may be that of a family member, friend, or neighbor!
The mission of Spokane Heart Rescue is to increase the rate of survival from Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) within Spokane
County by increasing rates of bystander CPR, through direct involvement of the community.
Recent studies have shown up to a 10-fold difference in
survival from Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) between communities across the country. Spokane Heart Rescue aims to combine some of the most successful techniques and strategies employed by the communities with the highest survival rates for SCA.
